Garba:

The two dance form namely Dandiya and Navratri Garba are famous in Western India particularly in the state of Gujrat. Garba is a graceful form of dance originated in the state of Gujrat, in which women dances in circles around a pot containing lamp. The word Garba (Garbha) means "womb". Hence, in this context the lamp in the pot symbolically represent life within a womb.

Dandiya Raas:
